These terms govern your use of ENDGAME: Only Kings Remain ("ENDGAME", "the service") at endgamekings.com, operated by Mythic Flux Foundry ("we", "us"). By creating an account, signing in, or playing a game, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use ENDGAME. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request verification of age and to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
ENDGAME is a free-to-play chess variant where each side plays a King and three pawns. The service includes:

ENDGAME is a skill-based competitive game. To maintain integrity for all players, you agree not to:
Violations may result in one or more of the following, at our sole discretion: a warning, rating adjustment or reset, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account. We are not obligated to provide advance notice or an appeal process, though we will endeavor to act fairly.
You may report another player for rule violations during or after a match, or from their profile and leaderboard entry outside of a game. Reports are stored and reviewed manually. Filing false or malicious reports in bad faith is itself a violation of these terms. We are under no obligation to take action on every report, nor to disclose the outcome of an investigation to the reporter.
To reduce abuse of the report system we apply a per-reporter rate limit (roughly 46 reports per 24 hours) and automatically decline duplicate reports against the same target while an earlier report from the same reporter is still unreviewed. These limits are operational safeguards, not caps on legitimate reporting — if you hit them and believe you have further concerns to raise, contact us directly.
You may block another player from your account. While a block is in place: neither of you can send friend requests or challenges to the other, any pending requests or challenges between you are cleared, and our matchmaking system will not pair you against each other in either queue. Blocks are private — we do not notify the blocked user or disclose who has blocked them. You can remove a block at any time from your Friends tab; doing so does not restore any prior friendship, which must be re-established by a new request.
ENDGAME is free to play. The "Support ENDGAME" link on the home screen leads to a Stripe Payment Link for voluntary financial contributions. Tips are entirely optional, non-refundable, and grant no gameplay advantage, cosmetic reward, rating benefit, or preferential treatment of any kind. Stripe processes the payment directly; we do not receive or store your card details.
The ENDGAME name, game design, visual identity, logos, artwork, and source code are owned by Mythic Flux Foundry or its licensors. All rights are reserved.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the service (such as your username). By using the service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display your username, game moves, match results, ratings, and season standings as part of the normal operation of the service (e.g., match history, leaderboards, opponent displays).
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the service without our prior written consent.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control. Matches may be lost, interrupted, or corrupted due to server issues, network failures, or bugs.
We may adjust, reverse, or void ratings and match results affected by service outages, bugs, or confirmed cheating, at our discretion.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYTHIC FLUX FOUNDRY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR TEN US DOLLARS ($10), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mythic Flux Foundry and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these terms; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Missouri for the resolution of any disputes.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
You may stop using the service at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mythic Flux Foundry regarding your use of the service. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations relating to the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via a notice in the app and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, stop using the service.
